Crynodeb
What will your duties include? Lead, organise and manage the Procurement and Purchasing service. Day-to-day pharmacy procurement using Epic and GHX systems to make sure hospitals have enough stock of required pharmaceuticals. Be responsible for actioning the alerts and recalls of all medicines throughout the hospital. Maintain and develop high quality, consistent, patient-focused pharmacy services in conjunction with clinical and patient services staff. Participate in the efficient day to day running of the dispensary and assisting the lead/senior technician/ Pharmacist when required. What we need from you? NVQ Level 3 (or recognised equivalent) in Pharmaceutical Services (or similar). Mandatory CPD to maintain fitness to practice. Full registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). Extensive experience of working in Hospital Pharmacy Procurement (Essential). Experience in using PowerGate or other GHX platforms (Desirable). Experience of working in a busy dispensary department (Essential).
