Gloucestershire Professional Services (GPS) is recruiting an IT Support Apprentice to join the Information Technology Support team based at Gloucestershire College.
The purpose of this role is to provide IT Technical Support to students and staff in the use of IT equipment including, troubleshooting hardware and software faults along with installations and maintenance.
Supporting the IT provision at our 3 campuses in Gloucestershire, we are a team of circa 13 with experience in all aspects of ICT. You will be part of this team and contribute to supporting the College and its many staff/students, while learning new technologies and gaining valuable experience.
This is a varied and challenging role and you will be expected to provide a professional and friendly service to both internal and external customers. You will deal with customers face to face, on the telephone and through electronic enquiries.
The successful candidate will be enrolled on our Information Communication Technician Level 3 course. (starting in September)
