You will be joining our established Theatre Stores Team and will be integral in ensuring stock is received , checked and available for Theatres in a timely fashion..

• Check goods delivered to Operating Theatres Stores. Check all goods received against delivery documents and copy order and report discrepancies to the departmental co-coordinator Enter receipt data onto the Stock Control System.
• To receipt and put away surgical instruments in the relevant storeroom ready for operational use.
• Responsible for the distribution of all items to the relevant areas around the Department.
• Complete the regular stock checking process as required.
• Responsible for the care and maintenance of the storeroom equipment and moving and handling equipment.
• Ensure efficient and cost-effective use/re-use of equipment and stock as appropriate in line with the regulations surrounding the stock, i.e., infection control prohibition.
• To be responsible under the Health & Safety at Work Act for personal safety and that of other employees and patients.
