Description

Responsibilities
Provide leadership and direction for the social work team, ensuring adherence to professional standards and best practices.
Supervise and mentor junior social workers, providing support and guidance in their professional development.
Participate in strategic planning and policy development to enhance service delivery and operational effectiveness.
Conduct complex case assessments and develop appropriate intervention plans tailored to individual client needs.
Collaborate with external agencies, stakeholders, and community organizations to develop comprehensive support systems for clients.
Lead training sessions and workshops to enhance the skills and knowledge of the social work team.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of social work programs and services, implementing improvements as needed.
Requirements
A relevant degree in social work or related field with a recognized qualification.
Extensive post-qualification experience in social work, including supervisory or leadership roles.
Demonstrated knowledge of current legislation, policies, and best practices in social work.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups.
Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated on industry trends.
