Requirements
• Qualified Teacher Status
• Knowledge of and compliance with school procedures and policies, including child protection and safeguarding protocols
• Experience of leading a subject with a critical understanding of the developments in that area
• Have a proven track record of strong and consistent behaviour management
• Have experience of working closely with parents in successful home-school partnerships
• Have knowledge and understanding of cognitive science and how children learn including factors that may inhibit learning and strategies to overcome them
• Know and understand how to access the relevant subject and curriculum including statutory assessment requirements and making use of formative and summative assessment to secure pupils’ progress.
• Ability to use data effectively in order to plan relevant sequence of lessons
• Demonstrable experience of making a positive contribution to the wider life and ethos of a school
• Experience of deploying support staff effectively to enhance the experience of pupils

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our welcoming school. We are looking to employ an excellent class teacher to work within our school. The successful candidate should be passionate about working with children; have excellent communication skills and demonstrate a calm and nurturing manner. They will also be able to encourage a positive attitude to learning to enable all of our children to achieve their full potential, both socially and academically.
