- Location: Humberside/ North Lincolnshire (with international travel as required)
- Full-Time | Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm (Flexibility required to meet business needs)

About the Role
As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing the quality of, mainly, pelagic fish products-from dock to distribution. Working across international supply routes, you'll ensure products consistently meet high standards, exceed customer expectations, and reduce post-sale escalations.
You will:

  • Monitor and refine quality control procedures across the global transport and delivery chain.

  • Conduct quality assessments of pelagic fish such as Ling, Mackerel, and Pollock; However, other types such as Tuna, Herring and Sardines will also be included.

  • Evaluate and condition-score fish based on photographic evidence, both pre- and post-transportation.

  • Support strategic development within the Quality Department to streamline processes and drive continuous improvement.

  • Provide hands-on support during claims or issues, including out-of-hours and on-call availability when needed.

Who We're Looking For
We seek a proactive, detail-orientated and experienced QA professional with:

  • First-hand knowledge of pelagic fish types and experience in a quality-focused role within the seafood industry.

  • A strategic mindset with the ability to influence and improve existing systems.

  • Strong communication skills and a diplomatic approach when working with global stakeholders. You'll be working very closely with a small team, directly with MD and clients on a global-scale.

  • The flexibility to travel internationally and work outside of regular hours when business-critical situations arise. (Valid passport required)

Benefits
Joining a close knit, family-run business, you'll enjoy:

  • 25 days annual leave + bank holidays

  • Company incentive scheme- based on business performance and reviewed annually.

  • Complimentary breakfasts on Mondays and Wednesdays, and hot lunch every Friday

  • Opportunities to grow and contribute to a forward-thinking business with global impact
