Are you from a technical background in Air Conditioning, Plumbing, Heating, HVAC, or Refrigeration and looking to take the next step into Project Management? Are you eager to combine your hands-on expertise with full project lifecycle responsibilities while receiving ongoing technical training and career development?
The Advocate Group is proud to be representing a fast-growing, reputable building services contractor in their search for a Junior Project Manager. You’ll play a key role in managing and coordinating residential and commercial installation projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and oversee plumbing, heating, and HVAC installation projects from start to finish.
Work closely with clients, engineers, and site teams to manage scope, schedule, and delivery.
Conduct site visits, assess technical requirements, and supervise work progress.
Support procurement, material handling, and subcontractor coordination.
Monitor budgets, variations, and compliance with health & safety regulations.
Attend internal project meetings and prepare project documentation and progress reports.
Receive training and mentoring from experienced senior project managers.
Requirements
Experience in Plumbing, Heating, HVAC, Refrigeration, or Air Conditioning (field, site-based, or technical roles).
Interest or experience in project coordination or management responsibilities.
Strong technical knowledge and the ability to read mechanical drawings or schematics.
Good organisational and communication skills.
Familiar with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); knowledge of project software is a bonus.
Full UK driving licence preferred.
