About You:
As a Class Teacher at Three Peaks Primary Academy, you will contribute to raising standards of student attainment and ensure outstanding progress. You will:
• Foster a positive learning environment
• Set high expectations and build a supportive and inclusive school culture.
• Collaborate with colleagues
• Monitor, assess and evaluate student progress
• Maintain open and regular communication with parents/carers
Our ideal candidate would:
• hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a degree in a relevant field.
• Experience of teaching EYFS, KS1 or KS2
• be responsible for achieving the best possible standards in work and conduct for all pupils in the class and to promote and safeguard the welfare of all pupils within the school.
• set high expectations which inspire motivate and challenge pupils.
• promote good progress and outcomes by pupils Be aware of pupils’ capabilities and prior knowledge. Plan teaching to build on these, demonstrating knowledge and understanding of how pupils learn.
• use an appropriate range of observation, assessment, monitoring and recording strategies as a basis for setting challenging learning objectives for pupils of all backgrounds, abilities and dispositions and to underpin good quality teaching and learning.
