Neelagiree is a well-known Indian restaurant, situated at Rotherham, United Kingdom. It is considered as one of the best in the county for its authenticity, service and reputation. Neelagiree is for a skilled, creative and passionate Chef to join our team who have work experience in South Indian, cuisine, Tandoor etc, who can bring fresh ideas to the kitchen. The ideal candidate must have experience and a deep understanding of traditional cooking methods as a Curry and Tandoori Chef. Knowledge of spices and flavour profiles, along with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment are essential. We are looking for an experienced and qualified Tandoor Chef with South Indian curry experience (someone thoroughly experienced in Indian cuisine, with an in-depth knowledge of regional specialty dishes of Indian starters)
You will be responsible for
Preparing and cooking meals.
Maintaining kitchen hygiene and ensuring quality control.
Tasks such as marinating, grilling, and presenting dishes.
Managing and training new assistant tandoori chefs.
Operating and maintaining the tandoor oven.
Cooking dishes following traditional Indian recipes and techniques
and all related work as required for the section.
knowledge in North Indian, south Indian dishes is also necessary.
