What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for someone who:
• has strong subject knowledge in English and Maths
• Can support high-quality learning experiences for all pupils including those with special education needs.
• Understands safeguarding practices
• Is calm, patient, and sees the potential in all pupils
• Can work independently and collaboratively with other staff members
• Can confidently cover for the class teacher when needed (paid at the appropriate rate)
• Can engage children in play and structured activities during playtimes and lunchtimes.
• Brings a fun personality and good sense of humour.
• Working 1:1 or with small groups
• Apply knowledge of various intervention programmes, including phonics.
• Foster a positive learning environment that boost achievement, independence and self-esteem.
