Would you love a live-in role where you support an active, independent young woman while using your driving skills to help her live her best life? If so, this unique opportunity could be perfect for you!

About the Role

We’re seeking a Live-In Care Worker to join our forward-thinking community interest company, supporting a lively young lady in her 20s who loves animals—especially her pet chinchilla—in Brundall, Norfolk. This rewarding role will see you providing care, companionship, and support with daily living activities while helping her maintain independence and enjoy an active lifestyle.

What You’ll Do
  • Provide personal care, including bowel care, nutritional support, and assist with health needs throughout the day (including the use of a gantry hoist).

  • Drive the lady’s mobility car, helping her get to and from a local farm during the week and supporting other outings and social activities.

  • Encourage and support her independence, helping her make choices and stay active.

  • Assist with animal care for her beloved pet chinchilla.

  • Provide companionship and wellbeing support, light household tasks (shopping, cleaning, laundry), and support social and community involvement.

  • Work a one week on, one week off live-in schedule, offering a great work-life balance. Cover holidays and sickness as needed.

    About You
    • You hold a valid UK driving licence and have your own vehicle with business insurance (essential for travel to/from this rural location).

    • You have at least 6 months’ care experience (community or care home settings).

    • You are positive, motivated, and communicate well.

    • You are reliable, trustworthy, and able to work independently.
