An ambitious high-achieving, award-winning academy in South West London, is seeking a dedicated and inspiring Teacher of Social Science and Vocational Subjects to join our successful and forward-thinking Social Science and Enterprise Cluster. This full-time, permanent position is open to both experienced educators and suitably qualified ECTs.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging lessons in Sociology, Psychology, Health & Social Care, and Education & Early Years at Key Stage 5.
Teach GCSE, A-Level (AQA), BTEC (Pearson), and T-Level (NCFE) qualifications, tailoring content to diverse learner needs.
Work collaboratively within a well-resourced and supportive cluster team to plan, assess, and develop curriculum.
Support student success through excellent pastoral care, consistent academic feedback, and inspiring classroom delivery.
Foster critical thinking, debate, and research skills in preparation for higher education and future employment.
Participate in school duties, parents' evenings, and ongoing CPD as part of our commitment to staff development.
Requirements:
A good, relevant degree and QTS (or working toward QTS by September 2025).
Subject knowledge to teach across A-Level, BTEC, and T-Level pathways.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a team-oriented approach.
Passion for Social Sciences and vocational education, with the ability to motivate and engage all learners.
Strong organisational skills and a commitment to inclusive, high-quality education.
