Are you an experienced and resilient teacher with a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of students through an innovative and inclusive approach? Do you have the relevant teaching experience and looking for a new role for the next academic year?
Long Term Futures are currently collaborating with a long standing partnered alternative provision based in the High-Peak area. We are looking for an experienced individual to join a positive working environment in September 2025, where providing care and appropriate learning material is the core goal.
Your duties will include:
* Delivering engaging and tailored lessons to students with a range of learning needs, ensuring that the curriculum is accessible and challenging.
* Working closely with students one-on-one or in small groups, providing extra help to meet their unique educational and emotional needs.
* supporting in the development and provision of training in schools around SEMH specific areas.
* Building relationships with children's parents to ensure ongoing development and make parents aware of the student's progress.
The ideal candidate will:
* Have a UK QTS (ECT & NQT's are welcome to apply).
* Have relevant experience in working with students who have SEN & SEMH needs.
* Have a good knowledge of the school's current curriculum.
* Have the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and fellow colleagues.
