Location: Enfield, EN1
Working Days: 2 Days per Week
Contract Type: Part-Time, Long-Term
Daily Rate: Competitive, Based on Experience
We are currently recruiting for a part-time Maths Teacher to join a nurturing and well-resourced SEMH all-through school located in Enfield (EN1).
About the School:
- All-through provision catering to pupils aged 5-16 with SEMH and associated learning needs
- Small class sizes with strong support staff to ensure personalised learning
- Focused on emotional development, behaviour support, and academic progress
- Supportive senior leadership and a collaborative working culture
- Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons across Key Stages (KS2-KS4 depending on timetable)
- Work 2 days per week (days negotiable)
- Differentiate teaching to meet the diverse needs of students
- Foster a calm, consistent, and nurturing learning environment
- Collaborate with teaching assistants and pastoral staff to provide holistic support
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (Essential)
- Experience teaching Maths (ideally within SEN/SEMH settings)
- Strong behaviour management and ability to build trust with students
- Compassion, patience, and adaptability in a challenging yet rewarding environment
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
