- This role pays £12.21 per hour for the first 4 weeks and then £12.61 here after. The night shift will be £14.65 per hour for the first 4 weeks rising to £15.13 per hour after 4 weeks.
THE BUSINESS
Westray Recruitment Group is seeking Warehouse Assistants to work on an ongoing basis for our client based in Washington. This is a fast-paced role requiring good levels of accuracy. This is a temporary, ongoing up until Christmas.
THE ROLE
- Picking and packing goods in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Physical activity including lifting and handling stock
- Checking stock
- Operating equipment
- Maintaining a clean and organised workplace
- Picking stock off shelves using a hand-held scanners
- Putting stock away onto shelves
- Decanting from pallets
- Meeting daily targets
- Performing stock rotation
- Inspecting goods for damage
THE PERSON
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- The ability to work with accuracy
- The ability to work alone and as part of a team
- Flexible to work a variety of shifts which include earlies, late's and some night shift
