Summary
Corpus Christi College has a vacancy for 1 Full Time Deputy Housekeeping Manager. Main duties involve management of / delivering team rotas, service delivery, stock and resource management while supporting the team to perform daily cleaning of rooms, offices, toilets, and staircases. Applicants must have experience in a hotel, college or similar environment and will be able to demonstrate excellent management skills in-cluding knowledge of cleaning / chemical handling. A vocational qualification is also desirable. There will be some weekend working required.
You will be reporting to the Head of Accommodation and Housekeeping and will be part of a team of 24 staff, 7 of whom work at Leckhampton House the post-graduate site and the remaining at Old House for the under graduates. You will be working alongside the Leckhampton Deputy Housekeeping Manager and within your team to provide a first-class cleaning service for the College.
Applicants must have the ability to work independently in student & learning environ-ments, be conscientious, hardworking, and reliable.
Previous experience in Compliance, Health and Safety and Budgetary Management is beneficial but not essential.
There will a certain amount of climbing of staircases and carrying bulky items as well as busy conference periods. Flexibility is key to being successful in this role.
