A Part-time Nanny is needed by this wonderful family based in Brentwood, Essex to help them in looking after their school-aged child who is homeschooled. They are looking for someone kind, gentle, passionate about childcare and education, with lots of initiative and ideally with tutor experience. Someone pet-friendly is ideal since the family has a dog at home however there will be no pet care required. A driver who holds a full driving license is required, with a preference for candidates who have their own car but the family can provide a car.
A valid first aid qualification is essential for this position.
Working hours: 3 days per week from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, 18 hours per week
Duties include:
Bathing and maintaining proper hygiene for the child
Ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the child
Keeping child's bedroom and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
Engaging the child in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park
Encouraging early literacy by reading books to the child
Providing homework assistance and supporting the child’s educational growth
Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support the child's structure and development
Light housekeeping related to the child
Keeping child's bedroom and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
Preparing and serving nutritious healthy meals and snacks tailored to the child
The family is seeking someone who can start immediately.
