Job Description
As a Bricklayer, you will be crucial in constructing walls, buildings, and other structures by expertly laying bricks and various masonry materials. You'll be working on a variety of sites, ensuring every build meets our high standards.
Responsibilities
* Read and interpret blueprints and building plans accurately.
* Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, or other masonry materials with precision.
* Mix mortar or other adhesives to the correct consistency.
* Set up scaffolding or other necessary equipment safely.
* Ensure that structures are level, plumb, and aligned correctly.
* Repair and replace damaged bricks or masonry units.
* Collaborate effectively with other construction workers, such as carpenters and plumbers.
* Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and regulations on site.
Requirements
* Proven work experience as a Bricklayer (2 years preferred).
* Proficient in laying bricks and other masonry materials.
* Knowledge of different bricklaying techniques and materials.
* Ability to read blueprints and building plans confidently.
* Exceptional attention to detail and precision.
* Possess physical stamina and strength to handle the demands of the job.
* Excellent problem-solving skills.
* Valid CSCS Card (preferred).
* Own tools and PPE are preferred.
What We Offer
