Job description
Cuppa Chaii has a fantastic opportunity for an Apprentice Barista to join their team.

Duties include (training will be given)

An Apprentice Barista represents the brand and the culture of an establishment and provides clients with professional and friendly service. Their duties may include the following:

Grinding and brewing coffee
Developing and maintaining expert knowledge of coffee and educating clients and colleagues about these coffees
Consistently providing well-crafted, beautifully presented and tasty beverages
Taking client orders and receiving payment
Speaking and interacting with both new and regular customers
Maintaining a clean and sanitised working environment
Following health and safety guidelines
Regularly performing stock checks in the coffee bar and placing new orders
Following recipes and presentations for food and beverage items, if needed
Being aware of and following operational policies and procedures
Being punctual and maintaining regular and consistent attendance
The ability to work flexible hours and shifts which may include early mornings, late nights, weekends and bank holidays
Contributing to a positive work environment
Whilst you are employed as an Apprentice Barista you will complete a Level 2 Food & Beverage Team Member Apprenticeship.

As an apprentice you’ll:

have regular one to one sessions with a dedicated trainer either remotely or through visits to your workplace
learn and train for a specific job
get paid and receive holiday leave
get hands-on experience in a real job
complete assessments during and at the end of your apprenticeship
be on a career path with lots of future potential
