Monday - Friday
9am - 5pm
Our client is looking to recruit a skilled Junior Electrical Technician who will be responsible for installing, repairing and maintaining electrical systems at a domestic and commercial level. In this role you will be expected to troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems, and you will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical work is done in compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain and repair electrical systems and equipment in our client's factories and offices.
- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Troubleshoot electrical problems and diagnose issues with electrical systems and equipment.
- Install and maintain electrical control systems for industrial machinery and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards and regulations.
- Communicate with other tradespeople and employees to complete projects and repairs.
- Provide training and guidance to apprentices and junior electricians.
- Keep accurate records of electrical work performed.
- Maintain an inventory of electrical equipment.
Essential:
- Electrical qualifications
- Experience working in various settings
- Ability to work safely and effectively
- Multi-tasking ability
Desirable:
- Drivers Licence with 6 points maximum
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends if necessary
