Our Specialist Palliative Care Home Team provides expert specialist palliative care advice and support to people in the community, covering Cambridge City, South Cambridgeshire and East Cambridgeshire. We have an opportunity to join us in a Team Lead position, working 37.5 hours per week based from our Hospice in Cambridge. You will lead the team of experts to ensure a coordinated and responsive service, working closely with the Consultant and Matron for Clinical Services. Successful candidates will be a NMC Registered Nurse, with post registration qualifications in cancer / palliative care or long-term conditions and experience of managing a team. It's also a requirement to have relevant post registration experience delivering palliative care. Due to the nature of the role it's a requirement that candidates have a valid driving license and access to a vehicle for work. This post is subject to an Enhanced DBS check with Child and Adult BarredList checks. Starting salary of £47,071 with opportunities to progress to £53,866. Please note that the salary quoted is based on full time hours and will be pro-ratad for part time posts. As a Charity with limited funds, it is usual practice for new starters to commence on the minimum of the salary band for the role.
