Crynodeb
We ensure all scientists have allocated time away from direct patient care to participate in audit and project work and we have had multiple projects presented at a variety of conferences. Including prize winner papers produced by the team. We also have a daily co-ordinator role which everyone participates in. Vascular scientists at Kings are respected members of a variety of different MDTs within the Trust including vascular, neurovascular, renal and haematology and we encourage active participation in these groups. The role will be mainly based at the Denmark Hill site but will require some cross site working at Princess Royal University Hospital and others. We encourage all scientists to develop their careers. We have a strong history of building our staff, our senior team of six Band 8 scientists all started here as trainees or in band 7 roles. We place high value in our team.
