Summary
Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are looking for Concrete Production Operatives to join a busy concrete plant in Pinxton and Alfreton. These roles offer great progression opportunities to learn new skills, including semi-dry casting.
Your Role:
- Help set up moulds for concrete pouring
- Apply and remove fixtures using hand tools
- Read basic engineer's drawings
- Move heavy products around the plant
- Check products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Always follow health and safety guidelines

What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in concrete production or mould setting is a plus but not required
- Comfortable using hand tools and power tools
- Able to lift heavy products and work in a dusty environment
- Good English skills (reading, writing, and speaking)
- Attention to detail and ability to meet production targets
Benefits:
- Pay: £11.44 per hour
- Hours: 6:00am-2:00pm or 5:00am-1:00pm, Monday to Friday
- Immediate start with the chance to go permanent
