They will demonstrate a solid understanding of commercial processes and contractual frameworks, have a proactive approach to managing project finances, and be confident supporting multiple stakeholders across live infrastructure projects. A background in utilities, water, or civil engineering schemes is highly beneficial, along with a keen eye for detail and a drive to deliver results in a collaborative team setting.
Responsibilities:
- Administer NEC contracts (Option A or C preferred) across the full project lifecycle.
- Support the preparation and management of cost reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Assist with procurement and subcontractor engagement and administration.
- Monitor and assess compensation events, early warnings, and contractual notices.
- Provide cost management support including valuations, change control, and risk monitoring.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.
- Assist in preparing commercial documentation and reporting tools, including Excel and contract-specific software.
Skills and Experience:
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a relevant discipline.
- Demonstrable experience working on NEC3/NEC4 contracts.
- Excellent knowledge of cost management principles and commercial processes.
- Strong Excel skills and experience with contract reporting platforms.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with wider teams.
- Clear and confident communication skills.
- Immediate availability preferred.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build on their NEC contract experience in a forward-thinking company with a strong reputation in utility and infrastructure sectors. If you are interested, please contact Emily Nolan at Danny Sullivan Group.
