Are you passionate about supporting children's learning and development? Hays Education is recruiting dedicated General Support Teaching Assistants to join schools across Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive difference in young learners' lives while gaining valuable experience in an educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support classroom teachers in delivering lessons and activities
- Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils, including those with additional learning needs
- Assist with behaviour management and help maintain a positive classroom atmosphere
- Prepare and organise learning resources and classroom materials
- Support pupils' social and emotional development
What we're looking for:
- Experience working with children in schools, nurseries, or similar settings (previous TA experience is a bonus)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential.
- Enhanced DBS clearance (Hays can assist with processing)
