What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for a teaching assistant who can manage individual needs as well as those of a group and support the teacher in the classroom.
Experience of 1:1 and/or classroom support is required.
Someone who is adaptable and can cover across the primary curriculum but has a good knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum in particular and will be able to support the teacher and children in Maths and English in particular.
A creative individual who is flexible and reflective in order to improve the support given and responds positively to the needs of the children they work with. Aspiring for them to do the best they can and be the best they can be.

We are committed to professional development for our support staff and encourage further NVQ development in supporting children.There are often opportunities for extra hours, either covering or supporting in other areas of the school, such as Wraparound Care or lunchtimes.
We also try to have team staff meetings throughout the year so that all staff are included in the development areas of the school.
Out appraisal procedures are well established and yearly review of performance and progress are in place so that any issues, concerns or needs for development can be discussed and worked upon.
