Prospero Teaching is on the lookout for compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with special educational needs across a range of schools in Portsmouth. Starting September 2025, these roles offer both long-term placements and flexible day-to-day work.
- Location: Portsmouth and surrounding areas
- Start Date: September 2025
- Contract Options: Day-to-day supply, long-term, and permanent roles
- Daily Pay: £90.00 - £120.00 (depending on experience and assignment)
- Focus: Supporting students with a range of SEN needs in inclusive, nurturing environments
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN (in schools or care settings)
- A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for supporting learners with additional needs
- Right to work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
- Two professional references
- Access to free CPD including SEN-specific training
- Ongoing support from a dedicated consultant
