Summary
Secondary Teachers - All Subjects - Islington & Surrounding Areas
Long Term Futures are working with a wide range of secondary schools in and around Islington to recruit qualified and passionate teachers across the curriculum.
Whether your expertise lies in core subjects such as English, Maths, or Science, or foundation areas like Humanities, Languages, Design Technology, RE, or PE, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum and exam specifications
* Adapt teaching to meet the diverse needs of learners, including those with SEND or EAL
* Monitor and assess student progress, using data to inform targeted intervention
* Collaborate with department staff to develop high-quality teaching resources and strategies
* Maintain strong behaviour for learning through effective classroom management
* Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular or enrichment opportunities
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and secondary teaching experience in the UK
* Subject specialism in Maths, Science, English, Humanities, Languages, RE, PE, DT, or other secondary subjects
* Strong curriculum knowledge and a commitment to inclusive teaching
* Ability to inspire, challenge, and support learners across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
* Willingness to contribute to school life and uphold high professional standards
Location & Transport - Islington & Surrounding Areas:
