Monday to Friday 07.30am to 17.00pm

Happy to be PAYE for 13 weeks and then to be self-employed via client contract?
We are recruiting a ROOFER’S MATE (Labouring) to join our client on a temporary on-going basis. For the right candidate the role could become a permanent self-employed contract. Ideally you will have previous roofing experience or have transferable skills from other construction trades. You must be able to work independently and communicate effectively in a fast paced team environment. Full training will be given to the right candidate. If you have a fear of heights this is not the role for you. The successful candidate will work within a team of 5 and will be responsible for ensuring that all projects are completed safely, on time and within budget.
The position will require you to undertake all aspects of roofing, namely:
• Pitched and flat roofs, including GRP roofing - on tiled and slated roofs
• All types of roofing repairs
• Installation of new fascias, soffits and guttering
• Gutter repairs
• Lead work
• Gutter cleaning
• Moss removal
What we need from you:
• CV showing previous labouring experience
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Knowledge of health and safety and manual handling
• Willing to work in all weathers and at heights
• Passport OR Birth Certificate with National Insurance proof
