Crynodeb
As Hub Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to individuals living in the community. Operating out of Tile House Care Home, you will support service users in their own homes, promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing. You will be based at our care home Tile House and be given set shifts so there are no call outs and you will part of our team! You will also have access to a company vehicle for travel during work hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide personal care and support to individuals in their own homes.
Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and meal preparation.
Support service users with medication administration in line with care plans and company policies.
Promote independence, choice, and dignity in all aspects of care.
Monitor and record changes in the service user’s condition and report concerns to senior staff.
Communicate effectively with service users, families, and other professionals.
Follow individual care plans and ensure care is delivered in accordance with agreed standards.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records using electronic or paper systems as required.
Respect confidentiality and professional boundaries at all times.
Previous experience in care (preferred but not essential – training provided).
Full UK driving licence (required for company car use).
Salary and Benefits
Monday - Friday £12.80 & weekend £14.08 + overtime is paid at £1.00 extra per hour
Attendance bonus + 50p per hour if all shifts are attended each month - T&C's apply
