Personal Assistant required for a happy and lively teenage boy who lives in the St Austell area.
He has autism, epilepsy and limited communication and he would like someone who he can build up a positive relationship with and provide him with some 1:1 support.
He would like someone to support him with his communication and social skills out in the community. He loves being outdoors. His interests are dinosaurs and ball games.
A personal assistant will enable him to enjoy activities in his local community.
Good rate of pay at £12.60 per hour.
5 hours per week are available, although this is very flexible. Some weekend and school holiday availability will definitely be required.
Car driver preferred with business class insurance.
Some knowledge or personal experience of working with young people with special educational needs is essential.
The successful applicant will be employed under a private arrangement with the family and not be employed or carry out work for Cornwall Council.
