This is a line management position with hands on management and development of the Trust’s Data Warehouse and Datasets.

The post holder will directly line manage at least 1 Data Warehouse Engineer. The post holder will plan for, supervise and support the management and continuous development of the Trust’s on-premise, Private cloud and Azure public cloud SQL data warehousing environment. Expertise within the Microsoft data stack is expected. Part of this stack includes but is not limited to SSIS and SSMS.

This role is not just confined to Data Warehouse administration but will be heavily involved in dataset development for use within the organisation and in support of projects outside of the organisation. Knowledge of NHS Commissioning datasets is also expected as that will form part of this role’s core expected deliverables.
