Summary
Do you live in or around Brentwood and Hertfordshire Areas and can travel into London?
Are you happy to work nights, Sun -Thurs (9hrs per night) and looking for a Refrigeration Case Cleaning role within a progressive, forward-thinking company? (Our working patterns are generally between 6pm - 3am or 7pm - 4 am)
Have you worked in maintenance role before? Or worked within manual labour role ?
Are you flexible with travel distances, usually around 1-2hrs each way max, but on some occasions can be 2-3hrs each way?
If so, we may have the perfect position for you.
- Salary: £33,147 per annum (this includes a shift allowance of £3,595
- 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays
- Additional earnings available through enhanced overtime rates
- 4% bonus, subject to achievement of targets (historically paid out)
- Van (with option for personal use from day 1) and fuel card
- Smartphone, tools, uniform, PPE
Your role will be to assist within part of a team carrying out refrigerated cabinet cleaning requirements throughout an allocated area to agreed standards.
Responsibilites include, but are not limited to:
- Carrying out the cleaning of refrigerated cabinets
- Flexibility to work during customer busy periods (Xmas, Easter etc)
- Removal and replacement of back plates and base shelves
- Using jet washes to clean equipment
- Using vacuums to unblock drains
- Completing daily audit of location
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Previous experience of refrigeration case and unit cleaning in a commercial environment or experience of industrial cleaning (training of refrigeration cleaning can be provided) - essential
- Worked in a maintenance role before? Or worked within manual labour role ?
- Basic refrigeration maintenance ability - an advantage but not essential
Other Factors:
- The post holder must be able to work flexibly as required by business needs and will require a full UK/EU driver's license.
- Sunday - Thursdays - Nights - 9 hours per night
