Location: Cumbria/Warrington - flexible on location.

Human Factors Consultant responsibilities:
As a Human Factors Consultant, you will deliver results on multiple Human Factors projects with a variety of clients, whilst developing strong, long-lasting partnerships.
You will lead the planning and execution of extensive, technical, and complex Human Factors assessments, ensuring they are both proportionate and fit for purpose.
Your development will be supported through comprehensive training and mentoring from team members, alongside providing guidance in critical technical domains.
You will be responsible for supporting the design and case/safety report assessments.
Operational claim identification and substantiation
HF design support
HF project integration management
HF support on safety assessment
Human error identification
Application of HF methods
Resolution of operational issues
Derivation and management of requirements
HF verification and validation
Application of a modern standard HF techniques and relevant good practice
Human Factors Consultant requirements:
Significant experience in providing Human Factors support for nuclear or other high-hazard projects.
A degree-level qualification in a relevant field, such as Human Factors, Ergonomics, Psychology, or Industrial Design.
Pursuing chartership with the Chartered Institute of Ergonomics and Human Factors.
Excellent technical report writing skills
Understanding and application of UK regulations and standards
Knowledge of regulatory regimes
Willing to travel to/ and work on clients’ sites
