Are you an experienced nanny, childminder, or nursery practitioner looking for flexible childcare work in and around Central London? British Carers is hiring Back-Up Nannies to provide emergency, high-quality in-home childcare when families’ regular arrangements fall through.
This is a fantastic opportunity for childcare professionals seeking extra income, more flexibility, or a new challenge. Whether you're in the heart of London or commuting from nearby areas, we offer the flexibility to choose your own hours and work with various families across the city.
What We Offer:
-Salaried Roles: 20+ or 30+ hours per week, or ad-hoc contracts for greater flexibility.
-Competitive Pay: Up to £16.81 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
-Weekly Pay: Get paid the same week you work.
-Bonus Pay: Earn up to 4 additional hours on qualifying shifts.
-Travel Pay: Get paid hourly for longer commutes

What You'll Need:
We're looking for reliable, caring nannies who are passionate about delivering excellent childcare
-Minimum 3 years of paid childcare experience (or 2 years plus a childcare qualification).
-A Paediatric First Aid certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
-A valid Enhanced DBS check (issued within the last 12 months or registered on the Update Service).
