Summary
A Part-time Nanny is needed by this lovely family in Islington, London to provide proper care for their precious baby. An ideal candidate will be someone loving and nurturing, who genuinely enjoys working with children and doesn't just see it as a job. They need someone reliable, trustworthy, active, and focused on the child's well-being. Proactivity and a friendly nature are highly valued. Someone who can drive and holds a full driving license would be a bonus but is not a must.
A valid first aid qualification is essential for this position.
Working hours: 3 days per week from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, approximately 30 hours per week
Duties include:
Providing full care for the baby, including bottle and solid feeding, diaper changes, and nap time routines
Settling the baby for naps in alignment with established sleep schedules
Encouraging socialisation through baby groups and regular playdates
Engaging the baby in age-appropriate developmental activities, such as sensory play (textures, sounds, water play)
Promoting early learning through reading books, singing songs, and interactive play
Supporting gross and fine motor development through tummy time and structured play
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised environment for the baby
Following and supporting consistent routines for feeding, sleeping, and play to foster a sense of security
Handling light housekeeping related to the baby, including laundry, bottle sterilisation, and tidying
Occasionally assisting with simple family tasks such as meal preparation or local errands
The family is seeking someone who can start on the 8th of September 2025 and are happy to meet lovely candidates.
