Hours: 40 hours per week, 12 month fixed term contract with the option of a full time analyst position at the end

What you'll be doing;
- Manage sample processing efficiently, ensuring quick turnaround for pre-acceptance and plant samples
- Communicate analysis results and non-conformities to relevant teams and management
- Maintain high standards in analytical equipment operation and maintenance
- Monitor environmental parameters and provide radiation protection supervision
- Support plant processing and effluent treatment operations with analytical expertise
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and proper sample handling procedures
- Drive continuous improvement and development of laboratory operations
- Collaborate with other departments providing technical support and analytical guidance
What we're looking for;
- Chemical degree / HNC desirable
- Chemical Experience working within an Analytical Lab or Waste management industry / related field.
- Knowledge and experience of working within the requirements of a COMAH site.
- Excellent work ethic with a drive to improve.
- Demonstrated ability to work with and within a team.
- Radiation Protection Supervisor (Not Essential)
- The ideal candidate will need to be flexible as they will cover both sides of the lab which may include some early/late shifts
