Data Image Group is seeking a motivated and hands-on Trainee Production Assistant to join our dynamic production team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone eager and flexible to start a career in the print and display industry with fast development opportunities.
As a Trainee Production Operative, you will play a key role in supporting the production team across all areas of the production department. You’ll gain hands-on experience with state-of-the-art printing machinery, cutting equipment, and sustainable production technologies. The role offers a “technology driven – technology first” varied and engaging workload that includes:
- Printing: Operating and assisting with large-format digital printing equipment.
- Cutting: Learning and using precision cutting technology to process printed materials.
- Assembly: Supporting the build and construction of retail displays and exhibition units.
- Packaging: Ensuring projects are safely and efficiently packed for delivery or installation.
This role is perfect for a proactive and flexible individual who enjoys working as part of a team and is eager to learn new skills and advance their personal and business skill set and career development in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in the daily operation of production equipment under supervision.
• Support various departments including print, cut, assembly, and packing.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
• Follow all health and safety procedures and production protocols.
• Participate in ongoing training to develop skills in print and display production.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
Candidate Requirements
• A strong interest in production, manufacturing, or print technology.
