LGV class two category C Driver required for multi drop deliveries to garden centres, allotment associations, market gardeners, shops, private homes and professional growers.
A rare opportunity has arisen for a new member of our distribution team, it is unusual for vacancies to develop for drivers within our business, due to our long - standing team of professional drivers. If you are looking for an excellent work life balance role, instead of the daily grind of long hours and no family time this is the ideal opportunity to re balance your work and home life, whilst receiving a competitive rate of pay, be a member of the company performance bonus scheme, pension scheme and drive modern and well - equipped vehicles.
The role will test your driving skills as some of our customers are based in some very rural areas, so will suit someone that likes a challenge and can demonstrate exceptional professional driving skills and vehicle care.
Monday to Friday working and currently one night out per week on a fortnightly rotation, some manual handling and lifting will be required for unloading at customers premises. The person will be very flexible in their approach to work and have a friendly and positive attitude, whilst remaining professional under pressure.
Must have a current Driver qualification card (Driver CPC), current digital tachograph card and LGV driving licence, newly qualified drivers welcome.
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate good geographical knowledge and the ability to map read as well as use modern navigational equipment.
Good time management and ability to be flexible with good communication skills and ability to liaise in a professional manner.
