Personal Assistant required for an 11-year-old boy who lives in Bude.
He has Autism and he would like someone who he can build up a positive relationship with and provide him with some 1:1 support.
He would like someone to support him with his communication and accessing the community. He loves being outdoors, going to the beach and to parks. He also enjoys technology.
A personal assistant will enable him to enjoy activities in his local community and with his family.
Rate of pay £12.60 per hour.
Up to 6 hrs hours per week are available, although this is very flexible.
Some weekend and school holiday availability will be required.
Car driver preferred but not essential.
Some knowledge or personal experience of working with young people with special educational needs is essential.
The successful applicant will be employed under a private arrangement with the family, and not be employed or carry out work for Cornwall Council.
