Job Title: Part-Time Labourer – EV Charge Point Installation
Location: Various UK locations (travel required)
Salary: £360/week (3 days per week)
Schedule: Part-time (3 days/week – typically Monday to Wednesday, but may vary)
About Us:
We are a growing company specialising in the installation of commercial Electric Vehicle (EV) charge points across the UK. With the rapid expansion of EV infrastructure, we’re looking for a reliable and hardworking Labourer to join our team on a part-time basis to support our on-site installation teams.
Role Summary:
As a Labourer, you’ll assist with the physical groundwork required for EV charge point installations. This includes cable laying, trench digging, site preparation and general manual labour. The role involves working outdoors and travelling to various commercial sites across the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with groundwork including trench digging and backfilling
Lay and route electrical cables in preparation for charge point installations
Help load, unload and move materials and equipment on-site
Maintain clean and safe working areas
Support the team with general labouring tasks as required
Travel with the team to various job sites (transport provided)
Requirements:
Previous labouring or groundwork experience preferred but not essential
Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks
Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Full UK driving licence preferred (not essential)
