Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Primary Teacher looking to make a real difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? Hays is working in partnership with a vibrant and inclusive primary school in Lambeth to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic SEN Teacher to join their team from September 2025.
About the Role:
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, tailored teaching to a small group of pupils with a range of complex needs, including ASD, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties. The school offers excellent support, including a strong SEN team, access to specialist resources, and ongoing professional development.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to meet individual EHCP targets.
  • Work closely with support staff, therapists, and parents to ensure holistic support
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting strategies as needed
  • Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Proven experience working with SEN pupils in a primary setting
  • Strong understanding of SEN strategies and inclusive teaching practices
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A patient, resilient, and compassionate approach
