Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1-hour unpaid lunch break)

About the Role
The Recruitment Co are working with a well-established, independent firm of chartered accountants in Spalding, seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join their friendly and professional team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where client service and team support are top priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for a diverse client base
- Submit FPS/EPS returns and advise clients on PAYE obligations
- Administer auto-enrolment pension schemes, primarily NEST
- Handle bank payment submissions on behalf of clients (when required)
- Process new starters, leavers, and statutory documents (e.g., P45s)
- Manage statutory payments (SSP, SMP, SPP, etc.)
- Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients via phone and written correspondence
- Support general administrative tasks as part of the wider team
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3 years of payroll experience (essential)
- Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Confident communicator with clients and colleagues at all levels
- Flexible, self-motivated, and eager to learn new systems
- Experience with Xero and Sage Payroll is advantageous but not essential
- Previous experience in an accountancy practice is a plus
