Production Operative
Location: Winsford
Hours: Monday - Friday 6am - 3pm for training and then moving over to a four on four off 7am - 4pm once fully trained
Pay: £12.21 per hour
KPI Recruiting are looking for an Production Operative to join our client’s team working in Winsford. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to become a Candle Production Operative to join the manufacturing team. You will be involved in the hands-on production of a wide range of candles. This is a practical, fast-paced role that involves preparing ingredients, following detailed recipes, moulding, pouring, dipping, colouring, and fragrancing candles to exact specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Follow production recipes and instructions to create candles of various types and sizes.
• Accurately measure and combine ingredients including waxes, colourants, and fragrances.
• Operate equipment for melting, moulding, dipping, and pouring wax.
• Insert wicks and ensure proper positioning and mould filling
• Monitor cooling and setting processes to ensure product quality.
• Label, package, and prepare finished candles for distribution.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with health and safety standards.
• Adhere to production schedules and meet quality control guidelines.
• Work effectively as part of a team and communicate with supervisors regarding any issues.
Ideal Candidate:
• Prior experience in a production or manufacturing operative role (essential)
• Comfortable working in an environment with strong scents and fragrances.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and measure ingredients accurately.
• Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Physically fit to handle repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to high-quality work.
• Willingness to learn and take on new skills – full training provided on-site.
