Crynodeb
Provide routine nursing care to patients as required in accordance with clinical-based evidence, NICE and the NSF. Provide chronic disease clinics, assessment, screening services, health education advice and vaccinations. This may include (but not restricted to); Annual Diabetic Reviews Annual Asthma Reviews Annual COPD Reviews Cervical Smears Urinalysis Phlebotomy Dressings Removal of sutures / clips Contraception advice Routine, travel and seasonal vaccinations/immunisations for both adults and children New patient health screening / NHS Heath Checks / general health advice ECG Hypertension Reviews Maintain accurate clinical records in conjunction with legislation Work In collaboration and support HCA and Phlebotomy team as required. Assess, diagnose and treat patients in practice premises or their own home who require medical attention and/or refer to appropriate agency. Deliver opportunistic health promotion where appropriate Stock Control / Ordering Infection Control
