Are you a graduate considering a future in teaching? Looking for hands-on classroom experience before committing to Initial Teacher Training? The Academy, Selsey is offering one exciting opportunity to join our Aspiring Teachers Programme — a one-year, full-time, term-time-only post designed to provide aspiring teachers with real-world school experience in a supportive and ambitious setting.
About the Role
As part of this programme, you'll take on the responsibilities of a Classroom Supervisor, including:
Delivering pre-prepared lessons to classes when teachers are absent
Supporting students in their learning and maintaining a purposeful classroom environment
Assisting with tutor time, break duties, and wider school life
Engaging with training and development opportunities to prepare for teacher training
