Don’t believe the hype though here are some quotes taken from our professional’s feedback forms,

I was highly impressed with the person centred care that was being offered to my client and management’s vision with regards to the care and support offered to my client. This was bespoke care to the highest standard and could be use a model to be replicated. My client is living the best quality of life with care tailored to her needs and ambitions.
Social Worker. Wandsworth Learning Disability Service

I have not been as impressed with a service for a very long time as I was during my visit. The ethos of the service is very obvious in terms of the rights of people; every decision is person centred and reflects the need for people to grow their skills yet be accountable in terms of development considering the capacity and individual needs of the person.

The model is perfect in terms of matching people with varying needs and the support arrangements clearly work. I am keen to see what this could look like in a more regulated setting with higher needs; to see this level of personalisation and person-centred support would be exceptional. I was really impressed with the service and how happy the individual is living there. You should all be proud of yourselves for what you have achieved. It is a rare example of authentic person-centred care for people.
