TeacherActive is delighted to be working with a Primary School in Birmingham that empowers and inspires their students every day. This school provides a high standard of education and focuses on primary students with Autism and Complex Needs and provides them with a daily structure and routine to ensure the best learning environment.
The school is looking for a determined Primary/Secondary Teacher with the potential of a permanent position. The successful Primary/Secondary Teacher will be confident and adaptable in working mostly with Key Stage 1/KS1 to KS4 helping them to meet their milestones and giving them 1 to 1 support.
The successful Primary Teacher will have the following:
• Experience working with kids with SEND needs including: Autism and Complex Needs
• A calm, patient, and caring personality
• A good understanding of child and adult protection and safeguarding guidelines
• Experience in working with supporting students in their education on a 1:1 and a small group basis
• Excellent classroom management
