Crynodeb
The post-holder will work across the inpatient mental health wards to deliver a comprehensive exercise offer, utilising the multi-purpose sports hall spaces available. The post-holder will work alongside a small team of exercise professionals to provide bespoke exercise plans and goal attainment work. In addition, they will provide a group exercise programme with an emphasis on healthy lifestyle and well-being. To apply knowledge and evidence-based practice acquired through ongoing training and clinical development. To provide information for service users, their families, and the multi-disciplinary team about the local community exercise pathway and support service users to engage with this pathway. To contribute to clinical reviews, discharge planning and provide support with transition. To adhere to RCOT Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct/CSP Code of Members' Professional Values and Behaviour and local and national standards of practice. To work flexible hours according to the needs of service delivery, as locally agreed. To communicate effectively with service users, team members, carers, and other agencies, including taking an active role in developing links with community resources. To maintain up to date clinical records and profession specific reports in case records in line with policies and professional standards. To maintain up to date clinical and statistical records in accordance with Trust policy and professional standards.
