About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate PBS Manager / Positive Behavioural Support Manager to lead and implement person-centred behavioural support strategies across our specialist dementia care services. You will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our elderly residents by embedding PBS principles into daily practice and supporting our care teams with expert guidance and training.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualised PBS plans for residents presenting with dementia and complex/challenging behaviours.

Lead on behavioural assessments, including functional analysis and risk management strategies.

Coach, mentor and train care staff in PBS best practices.

Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team, families, and external professionals.

Monitor and review behavioural support outcomes, ensuring a compassionate, respectful approach to care.

Promote a culture of dignity, respect, and positive risk-taking within the service.

Requirements:


• Proven experience as a PBS Manager or equivalent in elderly care or dementia nursing home environments
• Strong knowledge of dementia care, challenging behaviour, and Person-Centred Active Support
• Qualification in Positive Behavioural Support, Psychology, or a related field
• Skilled in behavioural assessment and interventions
• Excellent communication, leadership, and training skills
• Committed to promoting the rights, independence, and wellbeing of older adults
